I have always had an interest in journalism and music and thought this would be an ideal opportunity to combine the two. The course met my expectations. Although I am still not 100% confident, I do feel much better than I did at the beginning of the course as I did receive some very useful feedback.

The tutorial support was excellent. I always received support almost immediately whenever I needed help. I learnt about the different ways of writing an article, about its presentation. I can’t think of anything that could have been improved, so it must have been perfect.

I wanted to develop and improve my music writing skills, and learn about other aspects of music writing with which I had no experience.

Did the course meet my expectations? Yes, very much.

The tutorial support was super. The support was very straightforward and honest. There was a good deal of constructive criticism, but always with positive reinforcement. Marked stuff was always returned very quickly.

I learned several new elements, such as use of photography, how to write press releases, multi-media, as well as things more on the business/career side of the writing business.
