Our news reporting course will give you the skills and qualification you need to write for newspapers, news websites and news magazines. It has a strong emphasis on multi-media and digital journalism.

Your tutor will be Cleland Thom, who is recognised as one of the UK's leading corporate media and communications trainers.

His clients include many Footsie 100 and Fortune 500 companies, as well as renowned media, educational, governmental and non-profit institutions.

He delivers in-house training to journalists most weeks.

This course is for anyone who is serious about journalism - it leads to the NCTJ diploma.



News reporting course duration and hours

The course takes 3 - 6 months. Distance learning means you can work at your own pace and fit your studies around your job and your lifestyle.

Tutor support

You can chat, live, to a tutor using Skype, or you can e-mail them. You will usually hear back straight away.
