I took the Web Writing course as part of the Professional Journalism course.
For me it was an inspirational mix of practical tips and guidance on writing in a way that grabs readers' attention, as with the internet the reader can all too easily be lost with the click of a mouse!
The tutorial support provided was excellent - work was returned promptly and with detailed specific and always positive comments.
The section on law was very necessary and most interesting whilst another important topic covered was how to go about finding work.
As a result of the whole Professional Journalism Course I changed career at the age of 42 from that of a biology teacher to a newspaper journalist working for a local paper.
