The course is for anyone who needs to polish their subbing skills.

Subbing skills course duration and hours

The course takes around 6 to 8 hours. You can work at your own pace and fit your studies around your job and other commitments.

Your tutor

Your tutor will be Cleland Thom, who is recognised as one of the UK's leading journalism trainers.

Tutor support

You can chat to your tutor using Skype when you need help, or you can e-mail them. You will usually hear back straight away.

Assessment

You will be set some assignments to send in for marking and assessment.

The assessment will include tips and advice on how to improve the way you work.
