Ten years ago, our website, www.ctjt.biz didn’t show on Google searches. We were quoted silly money by SEO companies, who also made a lot of silly promises about results.
So we decided to do improve our Google position ourselves. Now, it’s top of Google page 1 with our top four search phrases.
As a result, our turnover has quadrupled and we have attracted more than 2,000 clients in 97 countries.

NCTJ Magazine Course student Joshua Ng has embarked on a motorcycle trip from the UK to Nepal.
The journey will take 2 and a half months and Joshua is following an indirect route of almost 10,000 miles.
He said: ‘This is my attempt at freelance journalism in different kinds of settings and cultures.
'At the end of this journey, the footage will be compiled into a documentary as a submission to the UN Association of Film Festival in 2014.
'This is my attempt at freelance journalism in different kinds of settings and cultures.
‘I have set up interviews along the way, asking people questions about ways in which their work affects their community, and to discover the nature of which causes a human to fight for a cause.

QEW Publishing is an independent imprint that creates, produces, and publishes comics, novels and screenplays.
NCTJ Magazine journalism course student Sara Larkham has became regular contributor to several publications, including The Big List, BBC ATL and Candid Magazine.
Sara also has her own blog, which she uses to showcase her work.
