How long will the course take?

It's up to you. You can work at your own speed, and fit your studies around your other commitments. But as a rough guide, this course takes around three to six months to complete.

Who is my tutor?

Your tutor will be Cleland Thom, who has provided website consultancy and training for some of the UK's biggest sites - see http://www.potential.uk.com/website/our_clients.php You will also have access to our SEO technicians.

How does the course work?

We will send teaching modules as email attachments, one Module at a time. Most Modules are accompanied by exercises and assignments. You will study the Module, email us with any queries and then complete the exercises and assignments.

You email your assignment to us for marking. It will be marked and emailed back to you with a Grade, comments and advice. The feedback will be about your site - we will work with you on it.

When you have passed the Module, you will be sent the next one, and so on, until you finish the course.

What are the exercises and assignments like?

The exercises and assignments are practical and personal - you will have to perform certain tasks that relate improving your website's performance.

How is work assessed?

Each assignment will be graded between A and E. To achieve a pass, you must get C or above. If you fail, we will help you revise your work until it is good enough to pass.

Is there any support?

Yes, you can email us any time - as often as you need to. We guarantee to respond within two working days, although it is usually much quicker. 

You will need access to a computer with internet facilities, Microsoft Word software (or equivalent), and an email account. You are likely to have your own website already - or will be working on one.

Do I need any skills or qualifications to enrol?

The course is open to anybody who wants to improve their website's Google rankings. It's for novices, though it will help if you, or a a colleague, have some basic website technical know-how.

What qualification will I get?

The CTJT diploma, which is accredited by the Open and Distance Learning Quality Council.

How many hours a week do I spend studying?

It's entirely up to you. With home study, you work at your own pace. You can do extra work when things are quiet, and work more slowly, or take time out from the course if you are busy.

What happens after I enrol?

Once you have enrolled, we will contact you by email the same working day.

If you pay using PayPal, they will email us once your payment has been processed. We will then enrol you as soon as possible - the same working day.

We will send you your introductory course materials and first Module, using the email address you provided PayPal.
