CTJT launch new digital journalism course

CTJT have launched a new course in online journalism.

It is intended for people working for media websites who are often overlooked in journalism training.

The course covers all aspects of online journalism, from web writing to mashups and video.

CTJT director Cleland Thom said: ‘Online journalists and people working in digital media often find it hard to find cheap, effective training.

‘Many courses are aimed at traditional newspaper and magazine journalists and cover things like shorthand and politics, which aren’t relevant for people working in digital media.

‘Our course gives them the subjects they need and nothing else.'
