CTJT Magazine journalism course student Ian Shine scored an incredible 96 per cent in his NCTJ law exam.
Ian received the result this morning after sitting the tough Law Part 2 exam in Poland in April.
He said: 'I expected to get an A - but nothing like this!'
But CTJT director Cleland Thom was not surprised.
He said: 'Ian worked really hard for this exam. His grasp of the law was impressive.
'This mark demonstrates, yet again, the effectiveness of distance learning. I'm hoping that Ian will be in the running for the national award for the best paper.'
CTJT students have consistently achieved top grades in their NCTJ exams and usually do as well as, or better than NCTJ colleges and universities.
