Top job for NCTJ diploma course student

NCTJ diploma course student Jamie Lewis has landed a job as an online journalist with International Business Times.

Jamie starts on the website's technology desk at their office in Canary Wharf, London, next Monday (September 26).

Jamie tells us: 'I have been told that they have been bombarded with applications. 

'I am so pleased to have got it,  the odds were definitely against me. They asked me to write a couple of original articles which I did, and they gave me the interview on that basis!

"I can't wait to start my first in-house journalism job and will be continuing my NCTJ with CTJT at the weekends."
