CTJT now has students in more than 80 countries - including every continent on earth.
We are now almost halfway towards our target of having students in every country on earth.
CTJT students can be found from Armenia to Zambia and Australia to Zanzibar, and in remote places like Nepal, the Solomon Islands and the Turks and Caicos Islands.
CTJT director Cleland Thom said: 'We always aimed to reach students overseas, but we never dreamt of covering 81 countries in seven years. We started in 2003 with just one student in the UK!
'Some days I feel like I've been on a world trip, marking work and giving support to people across Europe, the Middle East, Russia and America!'
CTJT staff sometimes work nights so they can speak live to students in places like Australia and New Zealand.
Cleland added: 'When one group of student gets up, the others are ready to go to bed!
'Some enrolments have me running to the map to find out where the student lives - places like the Turks and Caicos Islands and the Peoples Democratic Republic of Lao had me scratching my head!'
CTJT have also brought journalism and communication to people in poorer countries, as well as the disabled and unemployed in the UK.
Cleland explained: 'We have given scholarships to dozens of students in places like Africa and Asia who would never have received an opportunity to study.
'And when we give scholarships, the money comes straight out of our staff members' pockets. It's a wonderful way of creating diversity.'
CTJT's next target is to have students in around 100 countries - more than half of the 196 countries on the planet.
