A year ago Chronicle photographer Nat Bromhead was sitting on a charter boat pondering his upcoming 40th birthday when he decided it "was time to get a real job".
So he enrolled on the CTJT Photojournalism course, and that decision paid off, as the former fishing guide was named Queensland Regional News Photographer of the Year at the prestigious Clarion Awards.
